The goal was to create a chalet in the Appenzeller Alps. It should be a modern version of typical wooden chalets and maiensäss (small barns). The house is made as summer or winter holiday place for a small family. The space is made as good as possible and made out of easy and local: wood (white fir) and stone (as concrete).
Das Ziel war es ein Ferienhaus in den Appenzeller Alpen zu kreieren. Es soll eine moderne Version der typisches Holzhäuser sowie Maiensäss (kleine Alpenscheunen) sein. Das Haus soll als Winter-und Sommerresidenz dienen für eine kleine Familie. Der Platz im Gebäude wurde möglichst gut ausgenutzt und auch die Materialien sind einfach und regional: Holz (Weisstanne) und Stein (als Beton).
