This project centers on the commercial design and historic preservation of Groesbeck Lodge, a notable structure from the Arts & Crafts period, with a focus on conserving its historical elements. Inspired by pioneers of the Arts and Crafts movement like Frank Lloyd Wright, our client is dedicated to honoring the architectural legacy of this era. Extensive research and case studies, influenced by the principles of sustainability, safety and accessibility, were conducted before project commencement. Sustainability principles were integrated into the design, ensuring a harmonious balance between preservation and modern environmental practices.
