This is a poster series I've created to celebrate the most notable and culturally rich city in the United States: New York City. The modern photography, when combined with the historically inspired typefaces, capture a true turn-of-the-century feeling, yet is still able to emulate the City's modern atmosphere. The phrases from each poster are quotes I selected by some of the most notable and influential people from the early part of the 20th century, including Thomas Wolfe, Truman Capote, and Charlie Chaplin, that I feel thoroughly embody the spirit, old and new, of this great city.
