Patch 5 combines gardening with opportunities for social interaction for people with sensory impairments by matching a person with special needs with a partner based on their personalities and interests. Together they able to learn about the 5 senses and how gardening can help enhance them. The kit includes a set of mason jars with a packet of seeds and dirt that Patch 5 participates can't take home and grow their own sensory gardenĀ as well as an apron the they use to collect sensory badges.
