Confucius’s Wrapping Cloth

Confucius’s Wrapping Cloth

Transforming the traditional Confucian Six Arts to modern life scenarios and codes through visual totem designing. This gives brand new visual meanings and advocating the Six Arts further by applying them on innovative products.

Many of the arts and techniques from ancient Chinese education are no longer put into practice. Therefore we not only made it into an educational use but also transformed their meanings into designs for blessing and to place hopes on.

We also designed Confucius’s wrapping cloth into a form of carrier bag. We wanted to convey and preserve the traditional meaning of wrapping cloth (carry hopes and blessings during long journeys) and Six Arts.
Our project also have website, animation, and brochures to promote the purpose of "Six Arts".
