Wander: A (Fictional) Retrospective

For my senior art project, I spent the semester compiling a sort of fictional history. In 1985, a young man named Scott McLellan and a rag-tag team of artists and writers created "Wander", an animated television show that changed the perception of cartoons in America. The show's protagonist, Moses, went on to become a pop-culture icon, transcending the influence of both the show and his creator. Below is work made by Scott, his co-workers, and fellow artists and writers that were inspired by the show.
These are selected drawings taken from Scott's sketchbook demonstrating the visual evolution of Moses.

These are storyboards for the Wander pilot, made in conjunction with a script written by Scott McLellan and Mark Sturka.

This comic was part of a mini-series from Darius Lockley and Eddie King that was published in 1992.
After Scott's passing in 2017, artists all over the world contributed to the legacy of his work.
