Year 3: Ephemera Society coupons/bank notes

These are money-style coupons designed to be used by students from The University of Reading at The Ephemera Society winter fair. This piece of work was created in a team of two for a client. Each student was allocated £20 to spend of these coupons, and this is the logic behind deciding to create them in multiples of £4. When creating these coupons we decided we wanted to evoke Monopoly money with our design, and create something that was in itself ephemeral, in keeping with the theme of the fair. This lead us down the route of creating money that was perforated, and could be ripped in to halves and quarters representing £2 and £1 respectively, something we wanted to make clear with our design.
