Logo and Poster Design to Promote Yappy Hour Monthly Fundraiser
Pro-bono client, the Greenville Humane Society, requested that we create a logo for their monthly fundraiser named "Yappy Hour". Client would then place our logo type onto their own in-house, self-printed posters.
We decided to that it would be a good idea to also present GHS with some of our own poster concepts, in addition to the logo design. One of the benefits of working with a receptive, pro-bono Non-Profit client. Below are the final logos as well as poster concepts.

Yappy Hour Logo – Final – The Wine glass version below was originally chosen as the final logo. But in the Eleventh Hour, client decided they would only be serving beer at the fundraiser. So it was a last minute scramble to create the Beer glass version as a replacement.
Yappy Hour Logo – Original – I was happier with this original Wine option, but what the client wants, the client gets.
Poster Concepts, Group One (Option 1) – Minimalist approach with these concepts. The idea was to use different types of stemware/beverage glasses as the nose and mouth of "Ghost Dog".

Poster Concepts, Group Two (Option 1) – Internal Account Team and Client gave a lukewarm reception to the initial poster concepts, so it was back to Square One. Copywriters and Creative Directors came up with humorous headlines and we presented the client with a different approach – to place dog breeds into familiar social settings in which, ahem, adult beverages are being consumed (in moderation, of course).
