Rotomac Global Private Limited, formerly Rotomac Pens Private Limited belonging to Vikram Kothari Enterprises, was incorporated in the year 1992. The project was conceived with an objective to provide good quality and economically priced ball pens. Soon, the Company set up world-class integrated production facilities to manufacture and supply writing instruments which made the relatively new entrant into a well know brand in a very short span of time.

Mr. Vikram Kothari, the inspiration behind this gigantic ball point venture has been recognized several times for his entrepreneurial excellence and exemplary contribution to the Indian business industry. He has been awarded by Honorable, the then Prime Minister, Shri Atal Behari Vajpayee, with the Best Exporter Award, conferred by FIEO- In conjunction with Union Ministry of Commerce, Government Of India.

Mr. Vikram Kothari also heads Rotomac Export Pvt. Ltd., Kothari Foods and Fragrances, Crown Alba Writing Instruments, Mohan Steels Limited, RFL Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. and Rave Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., besides Group’s real estate ventures at Kanpur, Lucknow, Dehradun and Ahmedabad.

Concept Note: A take on today’s youth; their behaviors and approaches to situations. The story revolves around our protagonist who appears late for a date and to make up for it, he tries unconventional ways with the help of the product (Rotomac marker), which is there with the both of them. The appeals used are humour, emotion and love. Which are the key ingredients to satisfy any concoction of puppy love.

Target audience: Youth and Corporate Circle.


Script:

Scene 1: Girl waits for a boy.  She’s upset because she has been kept waiting. Boy runs and takes a seat opposite to her.

Scene 2: Girl shows signs of anger, boy tries taking her cup but she swats his hand away.

Scene 3: Boy still takes the cup and takes out a marker from his bag.

Scene 4: Close up of the cup where he writes the word “Sorry” with a sad emoticon.

Scene 5: He gently pushes it towards the girl.

Scene 6: The girl picks up the cup, unimpressed. Takes out a marker from her bag, draws an Angry emoticon as a response.

Scene 7: Boy takes back the cup and writes down, “Coffee?” “Movie” and places movie tickets inside the cup and gives it to the girl.

Scene 8: Girl tears up the tickets.

Scene 9: Boy writes down sorry three more times and then writes “I love you”

Scene 10: Girl smiles, writes “Too”; changes the angry emoticon into a smiling one.

Scene 11: Girls forgets her anger and smiles at the boy.

Scene 12: Zoom out and close up on the cup with the text and the markers used.

Scene 13: The brand name, product and tag line appears.
