Elwell Studio has been contracted to redesign this wooded backyard in rural Pennsylvania. After studying many pool, patio, decking and pool house configurations, we settled on a natural form for the pool that is carefully situated within the wooded property. The decking and patio serve as the transition from the home to the pool in terms of access as well as design style. Material selection is earthy in look and feel. The project is in the construction document and permitting phase with construction to occure in spring 2013.
