This art experiment was a chance to create two compositions
comparing the humanist serif, and the modern sans serif. The
typefaces in question are the bold Neue Haas Grotesk and the
illustrious Stempel Garamond. Aside from the clear differences
in serifs, these two types showcase two significantly differing
personalities.

The attempt here was to showcase these by creating balanced
compositions with harmony and variety, along with including
gestalt, negative space, alignment, focal elements of design.

Blocky and organized, Neue Haas Grotesk is shown to be versatile and controlled, fitting with itself
Stempel Garamond, on the other hand, is vibrant and fluid with thicks and thins. The humanist typeface
