The Fab 2.0 Pavillion is an installation created to exhibit the results of the Fab 2.0 project during the annual Global Fab Lab Confence "Fab 12" in ShenZhen, China in August 2016. It was designed, fabricated and built in collaboration with the collective uABureau (http://www.uabureau.com/) and requested by the "Fab 12" organization team.
Fab Lab 2.0 remarks the ability of a Fab Lab to use its own digital fabrication tools to produce a fab lab as well as the manufacturing machines of the future. With this in mind, the entire pavillion was mostly fabricated and build within the time frame of the conference, using digital and manual tools. The Pavillion was an exhibition / relaxing space where people could walk through to see the machines built during the conference, sit down and interact.
