Equine is a fictitious app that I created, researched, designed and animated. It's purpose is to connect with a wearable for horses and serve as a fitness monitoring and analyzing app. It allows horse owners to monitor the recovery rate and overall trend of their horse’s heart rate, respiratory rate and temperature as indicators of how fit the horse is during training and routine exercise.

Knowing nothing about horses, I had an excellent subject matter expert at my disposal. As it turns out, horse owners and show competitors are a unique demographic who share a deep, passionate connection with their horse. Therefore, I wanted to the video and app to represent and respect that connection.

In the end, the purpose behind this promotional piece was to connect with the unique user, advertise for the coming of the app, provide a quick snip–it of what it has to offer, and provide viewers with an overall look and feel of the app's interface and purpose.
