The Bloomberg Markets magazine redesign represented a unique challenge for us.The company's multi-tiered hierarchy required many levels of design approval. The editors were open to a complete rethink of the sections and the way they are paced. We restructured the grid, modernized the typography and emphasized the information graphics in the main body of the magazine.
The magazine devotes a quarter of its pages to the service of readers who use Bloomberg Terminals. These are a powerful and flexible platform for readers who need real-time data, news and analytics to make smarter, faster, more informed business decisions. The 'Strategies' pages are where those financial professionals turn to get these updates. The section is dense but essential reading. Our job was to make it palatable to the eye without losing any of its authority or insider advice.
