I started studying concept design this week. I've been doing lots of sketches, technique exercises, and generally trying to find my illustration, drawing and painting "legs". 

"Outpost", as I have called this image, is my first finished piece ever. Entirely done in Photoshop, using some amazing brushes I've been collecting from all over. Took me about one hour and a half to complete, including for A LOT of experimentation in trying to get things right.

I know it has a lot of faults, I just thought it was a good idea to publish it here and get all the critique I can - so fire away!
