Our client, Village Cinemas Australia, had the idea to create a new bar at one of their premier cinema complexes. A homage to the company's founder, Roc Kirby, the bar would be named after him and showcase memorabilia from Village's long history of bringing cinema to Australians.

As this particular cinema complex is located on one of Melbourne's most fashionable streets, a known location for nightlife, I kept my concepts for this branding simple and modern, with a nod to nostalgia, rather than completely recreating a vintage look. With each concept direction, we presented three options to demonstrate how the vintage vibe could be dialled up further if desired.
