This is a two part document, consisting of a design analysis of Boulevard, a major residential avenue in Richmond, VA, and design guidelines for future development in the area. This project was completed for a course called "Principles of Urban Design" in Fall 2011 at VCU. The analysis and guidelines reflect theories in urban design, primarily those discussed by Kevin Lynch, as studied throughout the semester.
