VOICES: My Creative Journey

INTRODUCTION:
The Challenge was telling people my personal story about my creative life by using Adobe Spark Video and other tools. In my narrative, it should include my past, present and future.
MATERIALS:
This is a list of hardware, software, platforms and conventional materials used in this project.

Software: Adobe Comp, Adobe Draw, Adobe Sketch, Spark Video

CREATIVE PROCESS:
Audiences: 18-25 years old students entering a foundational art program.
Importance: I used myself as an example to show audiences that we should be happy with what we are doing and the road to become success in not that easy. We should make plans for our future and achieve them step by step.

PRODUCTION METHODS & WORKFLOW:
This is my workflow diagram.
I used adobe Comp to create a storyboard to show people my story's structure.
A basic outline of my narration:
-- Since I was a child, I like art so much. My parents support me to learn the art.
--However, some people told me that most artists are low incomes. I could not live on selling my artworks.
--I started to think about changing my dream job to be an interior designer.
--Always follow your heart.
--Studying in George Brown College helps me a lot. I gain many useful skills through assessments challenges and classes.
--Success is not an easy thing. It needs plans and effort.

I drew the illustration by using adobe Draw on iPad.
I could work faster when I first drew the rough on paper then took a picture of it and traced the outline in Adobe Draw.
Those are drawings I have done in Adobe Draw.
In Adobe Draw, I could do a lot of freehand drawings and it saved my time.
It was my first time to use Adobe Sketch. It has different pen tools that can create watercolour effects.
This is also an illustration I created in Adobe Sketch.
I picked the light blue background, as it looks simple and clean.

CONCLUSION:
During the process of this project, I learned that when I started to do a new project, it was necessary to make an outline or structure first. So, I could work on it more efficient and knew the direction of doing the project. Furthermore, I think creating a creative journey is a good way to express inner of yourself. If I have the chance to choose the way of doing presentations at school, I would like to use Adobe Spark Video as it is a creative method to telling a story. Also, there are also something I can improve on this project such as the little characters drawings.
