Bear Creek Interpretive Signs
Five interpretive signs for a stormwater and stream restoration project for the City of Redmond, WA
I researched, wrote, illustrated, and designed five interpretive signs for a stormwater retrofit and trail project along Bear Creek in Redmond, WA. After an initial mockup showing style and proposed content, design proceeded, including two client reviews.

Theme possibilities provided by the City were refined and selected. Two signs highlighted project elements, including new stormwater wetlands and permeable pavement. Other signs used colorful custom illustrations to explain the ecological functions and importance of riparian areas, floodplains, and stream temperature. Project was completed while at The Watershed Company.
