The Deccan Foundation’s mission is to preserve the monuments and heritage of the Deccan in a holistic environmental, social and cultural context. The logo design is inspired by the architectural and decorative motifs used predominantly as Jaali (screens). The logo is actually constructed out of the letterforms D, H and F integrated together to represent a geometric decorative motif.
