This is a screenshot of the original OSD (on-screen display) before the redesign. The ask was to create a modern looking UI that was touch-friendly with as few colors as possible (due to hardware display limitations).
This is stage 1 of the redesign. The font, colors, and background were first to be finalized. From here I still needed to create new icons for each tab, create image sprites for the 'energy use' bar, and design all of the content that would occupy each unique page.
The project manager and I had a discussion on the user experience for each type of on/off toggle. Given the limited ability to display animation, we needed a toggle that would require very little resources. I drew a quick mockup of all our potential options, and weighed the pros and cons for each.

This is the finished product. After some back and forth with the developers, we had everything we needed to complete the project. After QA testing, this OSD was flashed to our updated line of touchscreen displays, and can now be found on virtually every Elo product.
