World Y.O.G.A. Magazine

I was contacted by the World Y.O.G.A. Project to update their online presence: create an avatar for their use on twitter, a banner for their email newsletter, and an online magazine.

In the end, my version of the online magazine was changed drastically, but I was very happy with how it came out and really enjoyed the learning process I went through laying out my first publication.

Adobe InDesign CS5, Adobe Illustrator CS5, and Adobe Photoshop CS5 were all used in the process of putting this together.

April is Autism Awareness month, so one of the feature articles in World Y.O.G.A. Magazine focused on Autism: research shows that yoga's therapeutic qualities can help Autistic children.
The autism awareness ribbon graphic was hand drawn in Adobe Illustrator CS5, with a Wacom Bamboo tablet.
The lotus graphic on this page was created by myself in Adobe Photoshop CS5.
The graphics on the side of this article were created by myself in Adobe Illustrator CS5- I love kale and this salad sounded really good, I might make it sometime!
I created the speech bubbles seen in this article in Adobe Illustrator CS5.
Overall, this project was incredibly challenging but in my view, well worth it. I hope to gain more experience in this kind of thing in both personal and commissioned projects in the future.
