Interpretative centers of the Frankopan's route – project, 2016.
Interior design for the Visitor's centers of the Croatian National Heritage route "Following the Path of Frankopans" situated in different historical buildings connected to the Frankopan family. The House of Frankopan was a Croatian noble family, whose members were among the great landowner magnates and high officers of the Kingdom of Hungary-Croatia Rout connects visitor centers along the North part of Adriatic coast and in the mountains of the accompanying inland. The main center is to be finished in 2016. in the Castle of New Kraljevica, close to Rijeka. Other Centers are in Rijeka (Trsat fortress), Grobnik, Bakar, Krk – island of Krk, Bribir and Čabar. The main feature of the design is continuous special element made of HPL plates corresponding to the theme of the “traveling route” and exhibiting multimedia and interpretation of the theme. Since most of spaces are under strict protection as historical monuments the design sometimes had to enable further archeological explorations.
