The Laguna Beach Art Museum: Existing

When asked to give the Laguna Beach Art Museum a fresh new look, we worked to modernize the materials and lines. A small budget meant no structural changes could be made. A second skin was designed to filter the light entering the lobby for heat protection as well as light pattern play. The stucco stepped facade was designed to be refinished in white stucco with clean, simple lines so the corten screening could shine through.
