The goal of this project was to develop a master plan for blue bell park. It was a classwide project and small groups were each given a task. My groups goal was to develop a lighting strategy for the path. What we came up wih were two very different ideas about lighting a walkway. One way bathes the edges in light to give a sense of security to the path, but also gives an industrialized and cold feel. The other way swaps a brick paver for a frosted glass box in the same form that is light from the inside. This creates a starry feel on the path and can also be varied depending on the amount of light one wants in the area.
