This is a book to read with your eyes closed. The darkness is a place where everything is to be built and freedom is infinite, where everything is possible, and the perfect place to have a date with imagination.

 

This book proposal is an invitation to a sensory experience, where the story and its characters you can be heard, touched, smelled and even tasted. Leaving aside the visual, to get into the world of the other senses.

 

The book contains different elements that can be identified with the characters of the story, we can even create cross-relationships between them, triggering the imagination and thus inviting to construct new identities for some of the characters. May be the good ones are not so kind and the villains not so frightening as they might seem.

 

The proposal is to close your eyes; it’s better if you cover them with the cloth included in the book. Give yourself a good amount of time to listen to each of the elements that are in the book: which texture they feature, if they are cold or warm, what do they transmit us, their shapes, what do they smell of, what movement they have, whether they can be eaten, etc.

 

Once we have taken our time to get familiar with the objects, improvising, we can begin to explain our history taking the objects and let them speak to us.

 

According how you combine the elements - the order and the rhythm at which you decide them to appear, the silent spaces between each of them, how they interact or the relationships established between them, etc. - can take you to a well-known traditional tale, to reinvent it or even to create new stories.
