For a Digital Image Making class, I was prompted to create a gig poster using analogue materials rather than digital. This process entailed an research of the band's aesthetic and audience, ideation, brainstorming, concept sketching, and then refinement and execution of the final design.
 
To create this poster, I sketched multiple layers of the image on sheets of paper, hand cut most elements, and laser cut the text for the poster. I photographed the compiled layers with very specific spacing between, using only light to create dimension, gradients, and contrast. As a final step, I used Photoshop to refine the final photograph.
