2 x 4 is the theme for this year's Annual Brown/RISD Dual Degree Program Exhibition. The concept of the theme involves multiplicity, repetition, fundamentals, and construction. It explores what is elementary, use of materials, process work, manmade vs natural, and collaboration. As Co-Chair of the Branding Committee with fellow dual degree student Eli Block, we worked with this year's theme to create an identity for the exhibition.

As the name of this year's exhibition references, we primarily focused on the literal "2 x 4", blocks of wood that are used to build and support. Since our committee included a few other students, we had them illustrate wood grains that we then used in the poster itself. The composition of the wood blocks alludes to the process of construction and creation. The reverse side holds the catalog for all the pieces in the exhibition, listed by artist.
