Last September, another designer and I contacted a successful publication, S40 Local. Wanting to expand, we are currently in talks with Chesterfield College and the Creative Director of S40 magazine about developing a style for the new publication. Our working title is Mash Magazine as the word 'mash' has multiple meaning, the first being a colloqual term for a brewed cup of tea e.i- something that is complete or whole and the more general definition as in the coming together different things.
An idea for a double page spread, trying to keep the layout quite simple and clean.
This was a single spread for written items such as a short restaurant review.
The other designer and I put together our work to present to both the S40 owner and one of the college media tutors.
