This group project identifies three public spaces in Barelona, Spain which are defined as squares or plazas. Each public space differs in scale, location and era, of which one is contemporary. This comparative analysis is based primarily on hard infromants that contribute to the quality of urban spaces.
The aspiration of this project is to foster an appreciation of the public urban realm and its relationship to architecture. This project allowed the oppurtunity to write critically about architecture while being exposed to unfamiliar examples of current architectural practice including the academic realm.
The design generator is inspired by the graphic design of Xavier Mariscal.
