In September 2012 'KANTELINGEN' - a production by non profit organisation Realtime and croxhapox vzw - presents a groupshow in the exhibition space of experimental art house croxhapox in Ghent (BE). A group of 17 visual, sound and performance artists will formulate interdisciplinary questions on the status of the artwork and its transferential qualities, participation of the 'audience' and the architecture of the exhibition space.

Ghent based photographer and artist Caroline Vincart has been invited by artistic director of croxhapox, Laura Van, to show new work in relation to others, hereby questioning the existing parameters of curatorial practice. The given of creation, presentation and interpretation has been a leitmotif as well as an active thread throughout her professional and artistic activities.
The group consists of many Ghent-related artists that have been active in the local arts scene for many years. Some of them have attained wider and/or international attention while others have been quitely working in isolation and the confinement of their ateliers and minds. All have been invited based on mutual artistic affinities and thus artistic correlations. Monthly 'round table' meetings induced an active process towards the creation of new works through rethinking and dialogue. The groupshow will open on the 1st of September and shall be interrogated by performers and musicians on 3 evenings at Croxhapox.

The hybrid duo Younes Zarhoni (voice, electronics) & Nico Sall (electronics) bring an eclectic mix between traditionally inspired music and electronic landscapes. Brussels-based DJ Marcel Luckyghost rounds up this special night at Bar Resistenza, Brabantdam 82, Ghent.

Maya Dalinsky & Sonia Si Ahmed - a duo performers that interrogate powerplay between observer-observed, audience-performer, liberation and empowerment.
Rodrigo Fuentealba (guitars) invites fellow musicians Teun Verbruggen (drums) & Bert Dockx (guitars) for an improvisation set.
