Writing: 2011 Saint Louis University Viewbook, part of the "Be a Billiken" student recruitment brand
A university is nothing without college students, and college students know nothing about a university without marketing materials. A viewbook is one of the most important printed pieces in a university's arsenal, and I had been entrusted with writing Saint Louis University's from 2008 until my departure in 2012. A comprehensive look at what a SLU education in the Jesuit tradition means, what campus is like and why students should consider being Billikens, the viewbook is the cornerstone of SLU's "Be a Billiken" brand for undergraduate student recruitment and is distributed to nearly 100,000 high school students, guidance counselors and parents yearly. (The viewbook was designed by SLU's in-house graphic design team. I also assisted with photo shoots: profile cast members, location scouting, schedule coordination and photographer {Jay Fram} communication.)
The viewbook was the cornerstone of SLU's recruitment of marketing materials, but collateral also included videos, a student portal, traditional and digital advertising, social media and more. Look through my portfolio for more pieces of the puzzle.
