Fluidr provides a robotic solution for exploring water pipe networks, tracking leakage and other issues. They needed an infographic to help visualize the challenges of managing urban pipelines, and to convey how their solution works. We decided to create a series of  detailed 3D+2D illustrations that would depict these issues clearly and hold interest, so that one goes through the entire infographic.

 The 3D illustrations were achieved in Blender, and composited together in Adobe Illustrator. Creating it all in 3D allowed for a lot of adjustments and iterations till we arrived at the best compositions. Below is an interactive version of an older model - click to load and drag to interact.
