Our second job for theTrainline.com, this time looking at their new Mobile Ticketing App. The client chose to use animation instead of film as it helped show the full functionality of the app without having someone’s hand blocking the screen every few seconds, plus they preferred the visual style that animation brought to the project.

 

On top of this, changes in the design of the app and the booking process were easier to accommodate into animated content….. who wants to get all the film people out with all their equipment again and worry about matching weather and lighting conditions when talented animators can do a quick bit of magic and sort everything out for you? Probably no one.
