PHLATNESS - The Abstract Technical Design Workshop

A three day workshop with Mike Nesbit of Morphosis run by Alpha Rho Chi, the professional architecture fraternity, and One to One Design at Tulane University's School of Architecture. The event focused on the creation of Abstract Technical Drawings, or drawings where the technical information that is symbolized within in them is removed from its context and instead takes on compositional and artistic qualities. Students were led by Mike through his unique design process and each created their own personal take on the style to create their own artifact
The workshop culminated with a gallery style review by several professors at Tulane's Architecture School where the students work and the methods taught by Nesbit were discussed.
