Alga Lab by Angelliki Liamis
ALGA LAb is a research laboratory for the cultivation and production of algae as a biofuel and bioproducts. A gallery will circulate through the entire bulding to educate the awareness of the cycle and benefits of algae. The skin mimics the cellular structure of diatom algae. Natural light plays a huge role in the density of the growth of algae. As the density of occupancy grows within each programmatic space,s o does the filtration of light. This project is to araise awareness to the future biofuel of algae, and its significant contributions it can have to the world, and specifically to the beaches of Galveston.
