Where the idea came from:
One day my girldfriend wore a black and white polka dotted sweater.
As we were watching a movie, I started connecting the dots and imaginarily
filling out the blanks with my finger. Could this be typography and what is the smallest
possible grid for a full 26 character alphabet with as low readability loss as possible?

I made a 3 by 3 square matrix and started creating the typeface.
As I progressed with this dogma it startet to remind me of both ancient glyphs and cryptography.
This is where the name originated.

'Cryptography'
from Greek κρυπτός kryptós, "hidden, secret"; and γράφειν graphein, "writing"
Cryptography prior to the modern age was effectively synonymous with encryption,
the conversion of information from a readable state to apparent nonsense.

This font is born black and white.
