I made this portrait of my friend Radeck early 2014. I used spray paint and stencils on semi-gloss canvas. I first sketch the portrait and define a color palette. Once done, I numerize it and detach all the colors individually then swap their base color to black on white background. I then print every stencils scale 1, cut them by hand (I sadly do not own a cutting machine nor have the space to fit it home). Each stencil is them placed one by one and painted on the canvas.

And voila!

The whole painting took me about a week to complete.
