minimalism of the plain

In my work I examine the minimalism of the plain on the border of abstract and figurative painting. I’m gratly concerned about the construction of the landscape, the question of genuineness of the sight, the tenseness of the relative constant and the constant change. Questionanable, that can be painted the plain landscape?
In one hand, the minimalism includes a modeller character, which does not includes emotions and subjectivity but the landscape can not be objective on the other hand. I’m interested in the subjectivity of the sight, how the landspace affects me, and how much affect do i have on the landscape. The Great Hungarian Plain appears in different forms in the fine arts, I’m concerned about the different descriptions , the arc of the changes, its aim and the emerged questions and toughts in it’s history. I examine the Plain as simple landscape, symbol or exoticism.
In my previous works I have already tried to reduce the sight, but only trough buildings and result of this was an abstract, geometrical view, which was strongly reductive and constructive. Following this way, I depicted the elements made by human hand this way, demonstrating the stability of these, but the natural elements of the landscape are different, in the natural space I released the geometrical lines to render fluidity. This produced a new, somewhat tenser visual world. It was very important to find the best colours and the optimal measure of the reduction. These two thing defines the imagery for me. The minimasition includes the design and colours, too. I use only as much as necessary from both. I try to leave everything that not important or to absorb them into depicted elements and only focusing of searching some essential that describes this land and inspire many artist.
I could have chosen any kind of landscape, but the processing of the plain landscape let me examine the concept of time, space and substence and the components of the view, more succsessfully.
