Designed to accompany the 2012 exhibit at the AGO, Josef Sudek: The Legacy of a Deeper Vision is Sudek's largest and most comprehensive monograph produced in North America. With over 175 images and covering nearly 60 years of his prolific career, this book takes the reader on a journey through Sudek's life. Complementing the photographs are essays by some of the foremost writers on Sudek's work, such as curator Maia-Mari Sutnik, photo-historian Antonín Dufek, Canadian Art editor Richard Rhodes and photographer Geoffrey James. The design of the book was carefully created to achieve the right balance between proportion and size so that readers can see enough details of the work without making it into a overly large publication.
