Furniture Design Competition
The project is inspired on a bio-learning process of branch growth, specifically on how this individual elements (branches) develop different patterns as a part of a system based on a bio mechanical process (gravitropism) in order to identify target traits, as well the performativity trait of this growth motion was applied as a positive phototropism (growth towards a light source) as another characteristic of the element. The project was developed by setting up a code that resembles these mentioned features, this produces a result as an emergent plasticity given by a set of parameters previously defined on the code, exploring and mimicking those features as a form of expression from non-predictable demeanor set up by the code itself that follows the given shape of the wardrobe.
