As a first-year expo trying to get off the ground, the Endurance Sports Show needed to prove to prospective exhibitors that they needed to participate in the show. The exhibit organizers contracted with Serfwerks to develop the visual strategy for their event, which needed to do more to convince exhibitors that they would find success at the show.
The vendor solicitation piece was an 8" x 8" brochure, bound with an innovative string binding (something the vendors had never seen). The content strategy presented the event in line with the fanaticism with which endurance sports athletes treat their sport.
Recipients raved about the binding and the text treatment in the scenic background. At the end of the day, recipients of the brochure knew they needed to particpate as vendors in the show.
