This project was based on the concept of phototherapy which uses photography to heal.

Family albums are picture perfect. Everyone is dressed in their best clothes, smiling and happy. But there are those moments or memories that are never captured in a family album. The aim of this assignment was to break free from the concept of the stereotypical happy family album and  capture a frame that I thought was never captured.

As a kid, I was quite shy and introverted. I would often go away and hide somewhere if there was too much chaos or too many people around me. My frame captures that feeling of wanting to shut myself off in chaotic situations.
