While photography is more of a hobby to me than anything else, I was presented with the opportunity to do the wedding photography for my good friend's sister's wedding. Since she wasn't looking to spend much, I fit the bill and it was a good chance to really put my skills to the test. In the end, while I am hardly professional level, I was very happy with some of the photos I took.
Side note: avoid water with camera gear. I had a flash on a tripod at the pier that we were shooting at. the boards caused the tripod to tip and it fell over, hit the railing, and the flash popped right off and in to the water...that made my night a little less profitable and a little more frustrating.
