The 1% Club House

1%Las Vegas, US

'The 1% Club House' Provides a social hub for Hell's Angels in Las Vegas, sitting across the road from the plasticised Harley Davidson Cafe on the strip. The building unstraps the rawness and freedom as well as brutality of these road riders, who chose to live an alternative life.

Concept are formed by extracting key design essence from Harley Davidson series, oversize hollowed steel beams are joined, weaved in and out the landscape to form primary structural skeleton, powerful speed fans are installed within, to ensure a constant supply of fresh air throughout the building by utilising the path that the beams ran, hatches/flaps are opened at various part of the building where ventilation are needed due to heavy bike emissions and cigarettes.

Secrete pathways & chambers exists at the most narrowed choke and bazaar portion within building, where the Hell's Angels could monitor the surround events as well as holding private meeting, these chambers also acts as their arsenal storage.

The area behind the structure is covered by BBQ pots where bikers are gathered and hosting various events as BBQ is part of the culture for these fearsome riders. An underground path connects the BBQ house to the main building, this provides another exist route incase a gang shooting takes place.
