“Pipe Dream” is a collection inspired by the structure and color of pipes and the dreams we all have of luxurious scenery, romance, and fantasy. It is translated through hard construction lines and trims contrasted by soft romantic fabrics. The following pages represent a collection for the contemporary women's brand D&G for the Summer 2012 season.
For the upcoming section I have taken the same theme of "Pipe Dream" and applied it to the beachwear brand Roxy for the Summer 2012 season. For this brand the price point, colors, fabrics, trims, silhouettes, and mood needed to be adjusted. However, the same inspiration of structure, color tone, dreams, romance and fantasy still formed the path for innovation.
