Nabu è pensato, progettato e realizzato con materiali di riciclo: assi di legno, taniche dell’olio per motori, componenti per l’irrigazione, guarnizioni per auto, plastica e rete plastificata.
All’interno della tanica ci sono terra, plastica divisoria e argilla trattenuta dalla rete. Quest’ultima ha la funzione di evitare eventuali perdite d’acqua.
L’impianto di irrgazione è realizzato con l’utilizzo di componenti che regolano il funzionamento dei tergicristalli come il piccolo motore elettrico e gli ugelli per il getto dell’acqua. Inoltre ci sono una batteria ricaricabile e un serbatoio per l’acqua che viene riempito tramite un tubo in PVC che fuoriesce da uno sportellino laterale. Il tutto viene azionato mediante un pulsante posizionato nella parte inferiore della struttura.
Nel caso di Nabu, troviamo due taniche disposte diagonalmente dalle quali fuoriescono piante pendenti ma la struttura può essere rivoluzionata e personalizzata, dando vita a giardini verticali
sempre nuovi.
