For this project, I undertook the task of redesigning the poster for the iconic Bollywood film "Kaala Patthar," directed by Yash Chopra. The original movie, released in 1979, is a dramatic tale of courage, redemption, and human spirit, set against the backdrop of a coal mining disaster.

My redesigned poster captures the intense and gripping essence of the film while giving it a modern aesthetic that appeals to contemporary audiences. Here are the key elements of my redesign:

# Visual Elements: The poster prominently features a striking image of Amitabh Bachchan's character in the center, showcasing his intense and emotional expression, which is central to the film's dramatic narrative. Flanking him are two other pivotal images of his character, creating a sense of dynamic storytelling and emphasizing his multifaceted role.

# Background: The background utilizes a cracked earth texture, symbolizing the harsh and perilous environment of the coal mines where much of the film's drama unfolds. The black, jagged lines emanating from the central figure add to the tension and visual impact, hinting at the underlying turmoil and danger.

# Typography: The title "Kaala Patthar" is rendered in a bold, rugged font (Turtles) that evokes the strength and resilience of the characters. The rough, chiseled appearance of the letters complements the film's themes of struggle and survival. The credits are displayed at the bottom in a clean, legible font, maintaining the poster's balance and readability.
