16' SIP's Panels
Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs):

6 1/2” SIPs panels are fabricated with 5 1/2” engineered, energy efficient (R-23) expanded polystyrene (EPS) panels sandwiched between two sheets of 7/16” oriented strand board, pre-cut to the exact diameter of the yurt.
Polystyrene foam is free of CFCs and formaldehyde.
A ¾” plywood sub-fascia is adhered and sealed to the EPS foam with the perimeter stapled flush into the radius of each SIP panel, providing a rigid perimeter and reliable nail base for connecting the bender board.
These panels attach to our beam system. 8” star drive wafer-head screws are provided.
