My goal for this portrait was to try something new and out of my comfort zone. As a learning designer, I find myself constantly doing simplistic designs. I’ve always found beauty in the simple parts of design, so this type of art style was completely out of my comfort zone. I now know that I am able to step out of my comfort zone and try different things in design which makes me a more well rounded graphic designer. This portrait is a recreation of a photo taken in Myrtle Beach, this piece was made as a gift. Creating this project was overall a great experience that I am proud of and beyond happy to present as a gift. My most used tool was the brush tool on Adobe Photoshop, I used Adobe InDesign to piece together my work. Watching this piece unfold truly was an enjoyable experience.
